The 2013 Season at Galletta’s Greenhouse Backyard Speedway was overall a very good one. 38 different drivers entered the 24 features that took place every weekend between our 18th Season Opener on June 5th, and culminating with our Annual Klassic Championship race held on October 12th, once again a 200-Lapper! Every race has complete race coverage in HD, often from more than one camera angle. One of the usual suspects won the Track Championship, but a surprise winner took the 200, becoming only the 4th driver to do so in the race’s 18-year history! And man, was he PUMPED! Enjoy!

Galletta's Backyard Go-Kart Speedway is a free-to-race-on and free-to-watch 0.133887 mile dirt oval with 20-degree banked turns . It is located behind Galletta's Greenhouse in Oswego, NY, and can be seen from outer space! The single-wheel-drive gasoline-fueled flathead motor karts take the track between 15-17 seconds per lap which averages over 30 mph (approximately 45-50 mph top speed in the straights). Our speeds are comparable to alcohol/methanol-fueled karts that cost 8 times as much because we use mostly homemade or rebuilt go-karts and gas on a large track; leading to more karts, more competition, and more fun.
