Scott “Cow” Gagnon is a longtime friend of club founders Chris and Matt Stevens, since high school (Chris and Scott were Oswego class of ’92). Anyone who has met Scott knows he is a character in more ways than one — what, with nicknames like “Cow”, and “Overlord”, his booming voice can be heard from far away, leads an… interesting life, has a weird sense of humor (which Chris and Matt seem to share to a certain degree), and he makes an impression on everyone he meets. Known for yelling “WELF!”, “SHEEPHEAD!”, “CARP!”, “THAT’S G_Y, G_AYBOY!”, “RAKE IT!”, “RUSTY CHAIN!”, “UPSIDE-DOWN LAWN MOWER!”, “PICK, LICK, AND STICK!”, and many, many more.

Despite The (self-professed) Overlord being a fan of Oswego Speedway racing and occasionally going with Chris and Matt when younger, Cow himself didn’t race his buddies’ karts very much, as he can be impatient at times and it’s hard to get him on a kart — but we have rare evidence of him actually being on one!

Cow vs. Chris’ Comics
Chris, who drew comics as both a hobby and passion (and later an online webcomic), often put wild and laughably exaggerated caricatures of himself, his friends, classmates, and family in his comic ChrusherComix (a portmanteau short for Chris’ Crusher Comics), and later, miniaturized, kid-friendly revisions of similar characters in Towner Comics. Scott of course was the basis for one of the main characters in his comics, as his sense of humor and personality inspired many of Chris’ more bizarre entries in his series.
Before Scott’s race at Galletta’s, we took some time to read some of his favorite pages from Chris’ comics — Just ask him about Corroded Lunaticials (including Bastard Buck, Fvcked-Up Eye Man, Ellus, and Corrodedwithshitfaceman), and The Welphys! His reactions and infectious laughter are one of the biggest reasons how and why Chris did a good chunk of of some of the nonsensically weird entries in the book! To make this guy laugh!
Cow vs. Sports, Gambling, & D-List Celebrities
Scott is a crazed Chicago Bears fan and quite the gambler. He has been own to occasionally pop up on TV and social media due to he and his brother Harry being friends with Cousin Sal (of Jimmy Kimmel Show’s fame).
