Honorable mention as the head camerawoman and putter-upper with her husband’s crazy racing and website!

Rung, better known by her nickname Aou, would likely not approve of this page. In fact, if she saw it, she’d probably want it taken down. While she dutifully records almost every single race for her husband Chris since 2005, she really doesn’t want anything to do with the racing in general and thinks it’s mostly a silly (and potentially risky) time-waster. In fact, she’s never even entered a single race… but without her, the vast majority of this website’s content would not exist. And she mainly just does it because it means so much to her husband (not to mention her brother-in-law)’s racing club.

You see, she is the woman behind the camera for almost every single race on this website recorded from mid-2005 and up particularly 99.99% of the videos from our race tower in Turn 1. From these videos, we [1] score the race points, [2] make the race videos (initially for DVD, but now all on YouTube), and [3] most of the pictures and screen captures from the videos that you see on this site. She’s even recorded them up to 9 months pregnant, AND while recovering from c-sections, AND while breastfeeding in that cramped and stuffily warm race tower — twice!

And not only that, but Rung has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Naresuan University in her native Thailand, and she is the one who initially got her husband to build websites in 2005 helping him learn basic website building! You can thank (or curse at?) her for the fact that this site even exists at all.

And if she simply took 1 lap in every one of her husband’s races that she’s been at since she moved to the US on a fiance visa in late 2004, or we credited her with every race she’s videotaped, she would be far and away in 3rd Place in our All-Time point standings. She just doesn’t care. She also didn’t like to pose in her husband’s victory photos, but he talked her into a few.
