Galletta’s Greenhouse Racing Team Kart #6
The #6 started as a built-from-scratch project for Matt Stevens in 2000 and is available most weekends as an “arrive & drive” rental kart. It is often paired with 1st-timer rookies because — as required with them — it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Oh, and if you think you can’t win in it, Matt hops in it and does this:

Galletta’s Greenhouse Racing Team #6 started as a built-from-scratch project for Matt Stevens to replace the #3 in 2000. In fact, it was once a maroon and black #3. But… Matt always preferred his old #3’s handling, so it was re-numbered #6 and painted gold and brown (it received the much-maligned “golden turd” moniker due to many rookie renters demolishing the once nice paint job and side panels on it).
Slightly rebuilt by Buddy Cottom in 2009, it has had its share of wins through the years with different drivers (Matt Stevens, Buddy Cottom, George Russell, Gary Miller Jr., a tie with Bill Kuykendell and Jason Mills), and is often available for rent on most weekends. It would win more if more veterans drove it — it seems to be relegated to a rookie beater kart.
The second someone says, “This kart sucks, you can’t win in it!” Matt hops into it and teaches lessons. So, don’t do that. Just… try harder!
