Steve only raced once in 2022. We believe it was over what appears to be Buffalo Bills-related Tourette Syndrome or something… he’s always yelling, “gO biLLS!” until they inevitably get eliminated from Super Bowl contention, then it cures it… for a couple of days and then it comes back. We hope the Bills keep losing so Steve will no longer suffer from this condition and can race again.

Sunday, October 1oth, 2020 –  The 25th Running of the Galletta’s Greenhouse Karting Klassic 200:
2nd. Steve Sixberry – Galletta’s Greenhouse Racing #7 (16.54) Heh.

Steve Sixberry has time-trailed the front row in THREE consecutive Galletta’s Klassics! That may be unprecedented! He did so scoring 2nd fastest time with a 16.54 in a kart that was kinda’ sorta’ set for Kelly Miller to run. But Steve thanks you for not coming! Steve proceeded to lead the most laps in the 2020 Klassic by a wide margin! Find out more here.

Sunday, September 29th, 2019 – For the 2nd year in a row, Steve Sixberry scored the 2nd fastest time-trial of the day in addition to scoring 3rd place after the 200 laps were said and done after the 24th Annual Galletta’s Go-Kart Klassic 200 Lap 1-WD Championship! However, Steve missed a few races at the end of the regular season, so two rookies used makeup races to catch up and pass him before Klassic began and he was unable to regain the spots, settling for 5th overall and 3rd in ’19 Visitor’s Points.

Sunday June 30th, 2019 – Two very competitive 25-lap features went to Steve Sixberry and Matt Stevens, although neither had it easy. Sixberry had to come from the back to take the 1st feature, while in the 2nd, an under-the-weather Matt started on the pole (from finishing last in the 1st) and had to hold off challenges by his brother Chris and points leader Adam Lytle. Sunday, June 23rd, 2019 – Our 24th Annual Season Opener had been postponed three weeks week for several reasons — late growing/selling season in the greenhouse, track not ready, karts not ready, driver availability was spotty, Father’s Day, and the weather (needless to say all the rain), all played their part in the delays. But conditions wound up being excellent for some Twin-25s that finally kicked off our 2019 Season! Complete Tower-cam race video and helmet-cam race videos are here!

2018

Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 – At the end of his 1st full season, during the 23rd Annual Galletta’s Greenhouse Karting Club’s Klassic Championship–which is always the longest race, most point-earning race and usually the final points of the racing year, Steve Sixberry scored an impressive front row 2nd place start via the 2nd fastest time trial, and held on for 3rd, meaning he defeated all but Matt and Chris Stevens to win both rookie-of-the-year honors AND the 2018 Visiting Driver Championship. Steve improved all year long, won a few makeup race / heats and now looks to be a threat to win any week for years to come.

Sunday, August 5th, 2018 – In an unfortunate twist, most of our regular drivers could not make it, but 1st year driver Steve Sixberry brought two rookies who look to be getting accustomed to the racing and hopefully will come back often. Due to only three visiting drivers, we rescheduled to a “Make Up Points / Rookie Race” — although you can’t keep Matt Stevens off the track and races with no points or feature wins at stake. Chris Stevens took the opportunity to try and get a wide variety of different shots, not just the tower angle which everyone who knows us is accustomed to. Enjoy it all here!

Steven technically started late in 2017 and did not take long to get up to speed, but — much to his chagrin — a broken wrist kept him out of the ’17 Klassic 200.
