129th. Howard Seabrook
339.0 Points | 0 Wins (0%) | 5 Feature Races [2006 Last Active Update]
Howard Seabrook raced at Galletta’s in 2006 and even joined us occasionally at Oswego Speedway Kartway (however, due to no race tapes from ’06 Kartway, we couldn’t score his entries there).
The time that Howard Seabrook’s kids one time took the pin out of his steering column before a race, and on the very 1st lap of his heat from his pole-handicap position, he was unable to steer and it caused a pileup.

Fun Facts:
- Howard had a bad habit of his own karts breaking down at the very start of races. A few of the other racers had a laugh at his expense, but we always understood learning curves and that as a beginning driver, mistakes happen and karts needed bugs worked out of them.
- However, Howard quit racing at Galletta’s during the 2006 Season to race exclusively at Woodland Trailer Park Raceway and occasionally Oswego Kartway, and made a couple of websites to document it. But we were disappointed and found it odd that despite us always being cordial and kind to Howie, a few people in his website’s comment section took potshots at us, which we found unfair as we always worked with Howie to race weekly and work out the bugs in his karts.
- Health issues also contributed to Howard stopping racing.
Howard’s wife for some reason did not like us, and we have no idea why:
- Howard’s wife oddly didn’t like us, no context ever given. She once printed pages of our website and showed them to everyone at Oswego Speedway’s Kartway trying to make us look bad, taking our humorous nicknames and tongue-n-cheek race commentaries on the site out of context like we were being a-hole bullies. Anyone who knows us knows we make up racing nicknames and have fun, and never bully anyone.
- She also refused to share race videos (of our club at our own Galletta’s track and Oswego Speedway Kartway) with us, even after we offered to buy copies so we could put them on DVD, YouTube, and this website. Someone later told us the videos were just zoomed and zeroed in on Howard, and missed all the action outside of him, so perhaps it wasn’t too big of a loss, but since we have no tapes of us racing at Oswego Kartway in 2006 (our recording equipment was outdated at the time and not transportable), we still want them to document (and see a few wrecks that happened) and there’s still an open offer to pay for them!
- Update — She apparently carried a grudge over a decade and a half later, as she was selling something on Facebook Marketplace that we agreed to buy and were coming the following day to pick up. The next day, she claimed to have sold it to someone else.
- We don’t hold grudges though, and the offer to buy any of our cub race tapes is still on the table. We bet they’re lost and long gone though. Not sure what her problem ever was, but I don’t think her name is Karen. I don’t think. Could be wrong, though…
